jorn
i had a little two day break from my project while i spent the weekend oranising and attending my british themed leaving party / 30th birthday party. i know i'm biased but it was pretty epic. anyway, back to it today.
i was grateful for a quick visit from jorn pedersen this morning, during our busy farm fresh day. this man is the founder and former director of school mission, the organisation i've been working with whilst in zambia. jorn pedersen is utterly hilarious in a way that was a little bit tricky to understand at first as he has an uncanny way of keeping the straightest face when telling a joke. watching him teach is also a hilarious experience. he gets so passionate that his body can't seem to hold it and he is known for jumping and dancing around the place while teaching. it was an inspiration to work for him as the director but also incredibly humbling to see his amazing humility in handing the organisation over to new leadership.
jorn pedersen is a legend in the truest sense of the word.
(i'm taking a break from my normal blipping routine and from now until i leave i will be posting portraits of the people that i love here in zambia. i might put them all together at the end to make a mammoth picture to hang on my wall, but mostly they will stay here on blip so i can remember these lovely people).
