Welcome at the front gate

A lovely welcome at a friends house when I visited her late this afternoon after finishing an oral history recording. I thought the dogwood and other plant looked great. It’s the only photo taken all day - so it has to be this!

Frida and I had a wet walk this morning, but I kept dry under my umbrella. Met up with friends for a coffee after their exercise class and soon it was time to finish recoding another Wanaka Woman’s life story to date. We decided we would meet up in another 10 years to record the next chapter!

Thanks for your fun comments on my golf photo yesterday. At our beginner games, we play “Ambrose Golf”- meaning we each tee off, and from then on we take the best shot and all play from the same spot. It makes the game a bit faster. It usually means we all have a turn of playing the “best shot”.
