Hiking at Caesar Creek

A rather late start again, but then Roger went out in the yard, getting more leaves up, and I did some laundry and housework. Then our daughter Jen called and we had a long chat with her. By now, it was time to get out for some exercise and enjoy the sunshine. We decided to head to Caesar Creek State Park - we hadn’t hiked there in a while. We followed a trail which hugs the shore of a little peninsula. Once again, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Most of the trees are bare now, with the exception of the oak trees. It had been a mainly clear blue sky day, but as we left late afternoon, a few clouds developed around the sun, making a nice shot through the trees.
