Grasses blowing in the wind
Sunday
Today was a day of changing skies with beautiful cloud formations at times, with strong gusting winds, occasional brief showers, and quite cold. After quite a long chat with Laura, and watching our streamed church service, we ventured out to Fernald Preserve to go for a walk and do some bird watching. There were a lot of birds on the main pond, many were coots or Canada geese, but there were also various kinds of ducks, but it was difficult to make out the markings with the really churned up water and in the grey light as it was at that point. My bird photos weren’t very good, so I posted a picture of the sunlit grasses blowing in the wind, against a lovely sky. There was hardly anybody out - I guess everybody was at home keeping warm in front of their TVs!
