The gate is open!

I took some pictures of the tunnel in the neighbouring village to meet today's challenge of Shape & Form in the Landscape: Openings. See both extras for both sides of the tunnel. No train has passed the tunnel for 10 years or more.


On my way back I saw that the cattle gate was open! The gate has no function, but could be used to control the entrance of cattle or sheep into a pen or so. The sun was setting behind the gate, so being open the light could pass.
