Churchill

We spent a fascinating few hours at the Sculpture Park in Churt today.  I was surprised at just how many sculptures there were (there were hundreds) and even more surprised at some of the prices (the highest price tag I saw was £495,000!)   How would a sculptor decide to put £495,000 on a piece of work?  Obviously you can count the cost of the materials that you use and the number of hours that you put into producing it, but £495,000?  Wow.  And you can add another £100,000 VAT to the price!
