I did another "Summits On The Air" activation today - Wether Law. It's not a very big hill 9km round trip with 300m altitude. Weather windy with showers. Great fun though.

I made 18 contacts with my portable low power ("QRP") radio and wire antenna supported by a collapsible fibreglass pole - USA, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, and of course Scotland.

I've got my system for getting my antenna(s) and 6m pole set up in a gale single handed down to a fine art now.

I didn't see another soul on the walk in or out - I certainly wasn't in anyone's way sheltering behind the trig pillar!
