Mono Monday: North Somerset in the Rain

This is the delightfully folded Conygre valley near Priston.  I had hoped for a more dramatic Mono shot but the semi-permanent drizzle rather cramped my style.  Is it me or does it always rain on Mondays at the moment?  

Technically the challenge required an opening of some sort, but the best shot was taken with muddy boots,  in the field itself - the rather utilitarian galvanised metal gate just spoiled the shot :-) 

(I'm sure there's a song or two in that ...)
