I'm loving all this sunshine

Went out for a walk at lunchtime, as I was at home following a morning training course. Taking the SLR with me. It's funny how self conscious you can feel with a Nikon SLR, and a 300m zoom lens (and sun hood); whilst walking down a suburban street.

Went into the park and took lots of macro daisy shots, and a few others, but nothing really blipworthy.

Walked the final stretch to the house whilst chatting to my parents (checking up on how they are doing following my Dad's nasty fall), and noticed a solitary crocus in the front garden.

Quick zoom in and a quick snap (whilst still on the phone ), and hey presto - one photo of a tulip.

Yup I know it's a crocus, but zoomed in it does look like a tulip to me; however we'll have to wait a bit longer for tulip blips. Although I sense a daffodil blip looming in the next week
