Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

At last

Today the bird feeders were finally populated, there were three coal tits, a pair of blue tits and a great tit there all together at one point. The dunnocks were happy too as it meant lots of food got dropped to the ground and they could feed down there. It's the first day there's been any action on the feeders since I moved them so with any luck this will continue.
I had a BACC AGM today, that's the UK body of Cursillo - two hours in the middle of the afternoon. All went smoothly thank goodness... apart, at one point, from having the wrong words to a hymn on screen while a different tune was playing on Zoom. Once the glitch had been sorted though all was well. It was so nice to see over 70 people unmasked. You do miss facial expression when chatting with masks on. I do tend to forget though that when I am looking straight at somebody on screen they may not even be able to see me!
Did a wee bit more in the garden this afternoon but otherwise laid low.
We watched episode 3 of Roadkill this evening, finally making some sense of it at last, only one more episode to go though. It's all a bit topical really.... Next to watch will be the new series of His Dark Materials.
Finished off with an episode of Scots Squad, that does make me laugh!

Keep safe and well everybody. I'm quite enjoying choosing which mask to wear when I'm out and about.... oh dear!
