A door to the blue

We had hired a beach hut at Saltburn today. It hammered it down with rain as we drove there was stunningly beautiful while we swam (and both dogs did a good job of swimming. Even Toby! :) Jodie swan with me for quite a while after Cathie and Toby went out. Once we got past the breakers she was happy to just keep swimming. After a bit she took a look at me then turned most definitely back to shore so at that point we both got out and dried. :).
We had time for a walk along the beach then another warm snack before it was time to hand back the key and head back to Whitby.
Ahhh! Just lovely!
And we seemed to get the only good weather in the country!! :D
