Lockdown 2.9 - 9982

It was another beautiful sunrise this morning! I’m glad I’m pushing myself to go out. I walked twice around the park. First one way and then the other. Just for variety. I got home just before the rain but I had a few minutes outside with a cup of tea - I had got too hot on my walk and had to cool down outside!

The rain didn’t last long and it was sunny the rest of the day. After a morning of getting things done at home I was back out early this afternoon. I had arranged to meet a friend for a picnic lunch. We each brought a sandwich and I brought my flask of soup to share. We sat here in one of my favourite spots by the lake. My friend lives nearby but she didn’t know about the lake. (It is MY lake, after all!!) It was sheltered and we were warm, especially with the sun on us. But it sure was muddy as we walked around the lake. It’s definitely welly season!

I indulged myself and had a nap when I got home. I think I deserved it - 9982 steps today! I’m sure I’ll be able to squeeze in another 18 before bed!
