Moss

Not in school today, didn’t get much sleep last night and woke again at 430, so called in sick. It then took an hour to find and send cover work. My agency woman rang to say I should give her more notice, bloody cheek, if I’d know last night that I was going to exhausted at 5am I’d have told her.
Anyway, thought I’d go back to sleep, but the builders started next door at 8am and they were using fuck-off big drills, jack hammers and mr noisey tools until 12. So I only dozed.
I walked to post office this afternoon, picked up a few extra gifts to put in the parcel to Thailand, popped them in, sellotaped it all up, then realised two things
1. I hadn’t paid for the extras
2. I didn’t have the address.
So explained to staff who helped me pay and then walked home in the after sunshine.
