Rouken Glen

A more purposeful day which started with a trip to Rouken Glen which despite the indifferent weather was very busy, mostly dog walkers and a jolly group of young mums doing yoga outside the bandstand, the prams and babies taking shelter within.
My main purpose was to purchase a couple of hardy cyclamen plants from the garden centre. Others must have had the same intention because there were only six left, none looking very healthy. I’ll plant them out in the morning and hope for the best. Meanwhile the indoor one is looking quite perky, and has two flowers.
An afternoon swim which I hadn’t really felt like at all, and as ever enjoyed it beyond my expectation. Stuck mostly to breast stroke and tried not to overthink the frog kick. Almost getting up to half a mile in the time slot.
Yesterday got a lot better, we had fish suppers from Salt and Vinegar which were just the best. It’s the first time I have used the Just Eat app, a revelation.
