Old and New

One of the great things about our street is the variety of buildings. Bath Street was one of the first streets laid out in Portobello in 1801/2 and the first houses, including the building on the left, were built between 1805 and 1825. Strange to think that the new build on the right, on the empty plot that had previously been a cinema, will have to remain standing until the early 2200s before it will have been here as long. Will the street still be above water then?
