A graceful visitor

I'd been able to leave the house early enough this afternoon so I could stop at the artificial island on my way to the sanctuary and see if I could spot the Great Crested Grebes again but they weren't there this time. What I did see was this graceful visitor that I'd seen at the island twice already last week when I didn't have time to stop as I was running late then.

Thank you so much for all the kind comments on my blip of Mieke yesterday. I apologise for not being able to keep up with commenting and replying to comments as much as I would like to at the moment. Unfortunately I just cannot seem to get rid of this cough which is making me feel very run down.
