Duck!

This attractive mallard was hanging back away from the feeding frenzy caused by the other ducks, gulls and swans., so she got a special serving of duck food for being patient. Liked her plumage. I was hoping to capture a foggy Coppice Pond, but it seemed that although the fog was still lingering elsewhere it was clear over the water.  Chatted to a local lady who lives in the estate cottages and knew my husband’s family well.  She pointed out the lovely coloured tree casting reflections into the water (in extras).  Seems the COVID conspiracy theorists have been up in the estate putting stickers on the no parking signs (extra).  Hope thy and their families don’t succumb to the virus.  Wanting to keep on supporting the Ivy Kitchen which is still able to do takeaways, I bought a coffee to drink on my way home.  Lovely walk, and lots of squirrels to watch on the way back home - you might just be able to spot one in the extras.
