A frame with no view!

Awoke to another murky, foggy day, and a very different type of Remembrance Day.  Decided to get out for a walk this afternoon,  and a there was bit of bright colour in the village with the wreaths on the cenotaph, and the poppies on the railings of the Congregational Church (extras).  One of the older village residents has lost a precious signet ring, so I kept an eye open for that whilst doing a circuit of Goit Stock.  There is so much leaf fall now, that I think a lost ring will remain lost, at least until the leaves disappear, although he is not sure where he lost it - could also be in the village or on the golf course, so hopefully somebody might spot it.  No long range views today - the branch which normally frames a lovely rural scene just framed nothingness today - there are some sheep in that field, honestly!  Still, a nice walk - and no rain!  Met quite a few people on the way round, but it did feel rather eerie at times!  Yesterday’s photo now on blip as uploaded late!
