Lockdown 2, Day 5
I woke up relatively early this morning and was lay in bed when I got a message from Louise which said ‘have you seen the sky?’ I knew it must be pretty spectacular for her to have sent that, so I jumped out of bed, pulled on my onesie and went out into garden - it was beautiful! I took a few photos and then went and got back in bed again ;-)
I’ve been working from home today - during this lockdown I’m only allowed to work from home on Mondays, Nik feels I should be in the clinic, even though if we can work from, we should work from home, but who am I to argue?
It’s been busy again, but after being pulled up for doing too much overtime last month, which I should add was only 9.5 hours over a 5 week month, I’m not prepared to continue working late. That said, there aren’t enough hours in the day and some things can’t be left, so I didn’t end up finishing until 5.45pm, it’s so frustrating!
In Covid news, it appears that a vaccine has been produced that could be available before Christmas. I know it’s early days and there are no guarantees, but it’s nice to have a glimmer of hope.
