Mountain Triangles

.... in a pond in the Ferpecle Valley having climbed up to a hut to see the Dent Blanche (4,385m) a mountain I have always wanted to climb but those big days are over for me now. My heroine, Dorothy Pilley Richards, climbed it by a  very difficult route in 1928 in a skirt, with her husband and a guide! I met her in 1983, what a character she was! Extras of Josiane stepping out on the frozen footpath, and the second extra is the view up towards the Glacier de  Mine which is shrinking from year to year. The sun had gone down and the rays of light were quite dramatic. What a fabulous day.
Now staying in a tiny apartment in La Forclaz till tomorrow when we go to Arolla then home. Have to be social so no more blipping till Wednesday or maybe tomorrow night.
