Reflecting On Life

It's times like these when it's good to take a moment, reflect on the state of things and weigh the future. After the activity of summer is over and before winter's deep freeze sets in, warm autumn sunshine lulls me. 

The light is very bright from a sun low in the sky creating gorgeous reflections of the yellowing grass. I left the shadows darker than I might normally, I felt it would emphasize the strong side light. I like the shimmering reflections. I couldn't decide whether the sloping line of the far shore bothered me, but I left it be.
