Winter wonderland

I’m catching up with getting my blips up on the site, the past few days have been busy.

Part of the busyness has been onset of winter weather and shoveling our way out of it. We’re only on the edge of the great storm, some places are getting 36 cms of snow whereas we are only getting 5-10 cms. It’s all relative with snow.

Covid numbers here are rising steadily and people are nervous. The government leaders have indicated their unwillingness to shut everything down again but we are wondering if they can do that with so many getting sick. Right where we are at out here in this field, there are no reported cases. But people travel to the towns for Groceries etc. So who know how long we will be safe.

Life is transitioning to Covid in winter now which has its own set of challenges. Can’t really be outside very long so there are not many visits when you meet someone outside the shop’s. It also seems easy to forget masks when you enter into a building and there are many layers to remove. It’ll be ok, we just need to catch up a bit.
