Sun Worship?

The sun was bright and the sky mostly clear. No wind. A frost from the cold clear night.
We had lots to do at home because tomorrow we are going away on a trip but with weather like this we had to take a walk after breakfast. Yesterday I'd cycled near here and knew the slopes faced south and were filled with sunlight if the weather is right so today we walked there. HarlingDarling was not so impressed because "There's no water", which is more-or-less true though i did find a small pool covered in new ice (extra).
Jobs today...
*Packing for a few days away. It is so long since we took a trip that what used to be second nature now needs some deep thought, and takes time.
*Preparing the house for winter. We have double doors in winter and single doors in summer. Dropping the extra door onto its hinges is not always easy.
*Preparing the garden for winter.  A week from now everything could be, should be, hard frozen. So we don't want water butts full of water freezing and splitting. Drain the butts and turn them over so they don't refill while we are away.
*If the ground is frozen you can't plant things, so the last two big pots had to be emptied and the contents planted. There are a few unplanted bulbs but we'll have to take our chances and hope it isn't frozen when we return.
*Prepare the Kombucha - bottle the kombucha that is ready for 2nd fermentation and start a new batch fermenting.
*Empty the fridge. Ha, this is not possible for us but we hope all the more sensitive stuff is either eaten or frozen.
Tomorrow's blip will be from somewhere else, possibly Arlanda airport, or perhaps Shelling's place in the evening.
Back to the title - Sun Worship?  No, it's not some form of worship or yoga. HD had a sore back and was stretching while I was faffing around taking pictures of that icy-covered pool. And now for the last of the eggs we have at home - scrambled.
