Remembrance Day

Watching the ceremony from Whitehall this morning I was moved by its sense of desolation and poignancy due to social distancing being firmly observed at this private event. The rain here in Joppa matched the mood. In fact it barely got really light. I bought our poppies on line this year. The street collection revenue has been significantly dented, as have many charities, in the continuing fall out from Covid19.
