It is 20 years since I first visited the USA. We drove Route 66 all the way from Chicago to Santa Monica. Since then, I have managed to visit 49 of the 50 States, only Hawaii has still to be “done.” This plaque was bought in a delightful “Americana” shop in Oklahoma, where we were able, with total accuracy, to confirm that we were only 24 hours from Tulsa.
