Almost like a 'normal Saturday'
Half hour trek around the streets first thing this morning. When we say 'first thing', we mean about 8am.
….............Normally on a Saturday morning there are lots of tasty treats that people have dropped outside takeaways so by the time I get home I've usually hoovered up quite a lot of food and never want my breakfast. Lol! Obviously that part of today wasn't normal. I didn't find any tasty treats to eat on my morning walk so as soon as I got home I gobbled up all my breakfast.
Lay in my bed and watched an hour of 'Classic Eastenders' (Ann's choice not mine) and then we went for a walk through the Hermitage with Ann's friend, Kay, (in this Blip). Walked for about an hour and a half and it was pretty busy in the Hermitage.
On Wednesday I am going to be 2 years old. On Wednesday I will be a big grown up dog. I won't be a puppy any longer. But do you know what?...................... I still haven't learnt not to jump up at random people. I'm no where near as bad as I used to be, but I'm also no where near perfect. In fact for the last 10 mins in the Hermitage I got put back on my lead because I was very muddy, it was very busy and Ann just found it too stressful wondering who I was going to jump up at next?! I don't jump up at everyone. I can walk past 20 people in 'perfect pooch mode' and then I might decide to 'jump up' at someone who is just out for a stroll wearing white trousers?????!!!!
This afternoon we both just slobbed around watching more 'Classic Eastenders' and then I went for another little trek around the streets on my lead. It was very cold.
Ann went out at about 5pm and I had to stay 'home alone. Ann went to her friend, Susi's, for dinner because Susi is Ann's 'support bubble' and two single people are allowed to form a bubble and go to each other's houses. She had a very yummy dinner – Mexican pork, brown rice and a Greek salad. Yum. …..............And obviously lots of wine!
I was snoozing in my bed when Ann came home. But hey ho, as we say, it's almost like a normal Saturday............................ There's nothing on TV.
Ann says she's going to take me out for my bedtime wee soon and then it will be bedtime.
