Fog?

I checked my plane tracker as the skies have been so quiet. This flight from Bristol this afternoon had to “go around” because of fog or possibly to avoid a potential bird strike. I have also kept track today of the US Presidential race and do hope a peaceful outcome will eventually emerge. News tonight that the sky above Joe Biden’s home has been closed suggest the US security transfer of power has already begun?
