Why The Long Faces?

We got our daily exercise with a walk up to Street Hill this morning, going the long way round to the supermarket. These horses made us laugh as they all looked rather glum, as if they were already fed up with being stuck in their field during lockdown.

This afternoon we had a sort out in the garage, including defrosting the chest freezer. Oh, the excitement of lockdown.

On the second day of my lockdown alphabetical rummage through my LP collection, I thought "Yer Blues" by The Beatles from the White Album seemed to match the horses' mood. Here's John's version:
