Has anybody seen the shore line?

I met my friend for a swim at Basssenthwaite this morning. The shoreline had disappeared under the large volume of water that arrived in the lake last weekend. 

We had a leisurely swimble up the lake to the marina and back. We were in the water for an hour and did just over 1km. The water was very still no rain and no wind. We kept away from the bridge because the river under it was flowing very fast. It was good to swim again.
I met mum for a walk up the ridge in the afternoon. 

We heard that Tim arrived safely in Amsterdam and was waiting to board his plane to Tokyo.
