Cley-next-the-sea
A bit of panic buying shopping this morning before the lockdown starts tomorrow, and then this afternoon we headed over to Cley for a walk. It was mid afternoon and the light was starting to fade and shadows lengthen, and we walked out from the village across the salt marsh to the beach; around three miles in all. A lovely walk; just the right temperature and no wind. There were lots of bird watchers out on the marsh and beach; I don’t think anything special had been spotted but it is a great time of year to see migratory birds coming in to roost on the marsh.
