Mom's Favorite Necklace

My mother wore this every day.  It was a gift from my dad when they first moved to California.  They used to walk on the beach and collect shells and she was always excited to find a sand dollar.  I wear it a lot but particularly when I feel anxious because touching it calms me.  Since I'm extremely anxious about the election today, I put it on...but not before a photo on a BLUE background.  Hoping for a BLUE wave tonight!!  Many thanks to JDO for hosting Tiny Tuesdays this month!

I'm going to visit journals tonight to keep me busy while we're watching election returns.  Right now I need to do some paperwork that I have been putting off for the last 4 hours!
