Rough seas at Ho'okipa Bay, Paia

We saw turtles! With my useless iphone I couldn't get any pictures of them, but there were eight of them on the shore and plenty more in the water.

It's been raining like I've never seen rain before. In practice this morning, the rain was hammering the roof of the shala. Room full of yoga students chanting load over the rain. Truly magnificent!
