Cosy, warm, safe and together for Halloween. Enjoyed carving the neep and pumpkin with Tess for the first time in years, just in time for Jo and Akira arriving on the back step as darkness fell in their dressup finery, a brief visit as it was so cold before they headed back to their north east bubble.

The house soon filled up with that unmistakable neepy lantern smell, warmed by the candle... and a bit minging when the candle went pop and burnt the neepie beastie.

Plastic tat free Halloween all the way, at home, but it was like a walmart/landfill apocalypse over the road.
