A creative friend made good use of one of our squash. It is no longer - it was roasted up last night .
Had a good morning yomp through a damp Sopwell with Susan and David and mutts, Autumn colours still looking stunning . We took the camper and had coffee and toast after the walk, using my new camper toaster . Heater kept us cosy and cooker steamed up the windows we got a few funny looks from the other walkers !
Quite a bit of vandalism in the village last night from the big teenagers - little s**ts ripped out and broke up really lovely signage , slashed the poly tunnel, wrecked some of the scarecrows and stole the pub picnic table from the Main Street. Halloween is way more edgy and nasty in Ireland than I ever remember it being in England.
