Snow White and the Not-So-Little Dwarves

The Alloa Ballet Company and Stirling Academy Of Dance (http://www.alloaballetcompany.co.uk/) will be performing its bi-annual (biennial? I don't know - once every two years) show - Snow White and the Not-So-Little Dwarves - in the macrobert, Stirling on 1-3 Mar. I was lucky enough to be asked to take some photographs for the show today.

The school's principal, some of the dancers, some mums and I ventured into the woods near Dollar. The aim was to get some fun pictures of the dancers, some to be used as publicity material. Above all, the aim was to show that ballet does not need to be dull and stuffy.

This picture is of Snow White, overcome and alone, fallen asleep in the forest. The poor girl, in her beautiful costume, had to lie down in the mud for this!

The show is going to be great fun, and I am really looking forward to seeing it!
