Walking on the Beaches Looking at the Dougals
It was still wild and wet today. More wet than yesterday, and still we ventured to the sea.
It's got an invisible pull that drags me there - whatever the weather.
My heart was in my mouth though as we walked towards the town; we watched as two young girls jumped on the wall just before this point and started to walk, towards this heaving sea - whilst other peopl stood and laughed as they got wet.
I just started to move towards them, when thankfully they decided against their daftness and clambered down - already soaked through.
We walked the square of the town, and then back to this point again, where we stopped for coffee, and yes, we sat in the shelter and watched the wild whilst we enjoyed the heat and the sensation of soggy through our trousers.
Sad news yesterday of Sir Sean - please look back to this page of my journal, where I celebrated my encounter with him.... ( I note sadly, that in the same page , i refered to spotting Canon and Ball on the same day.
It always happens in three's don't it? Sir Sean, Bobby Ball, Nobby Stiles.
