Tree Shadow

At last some sun (!) and the opportunity to catch a nice long shadow. Spent a bit of time with the composition and I think the cloud in the top right hand corner is really important, giving the blip some balance as well as a white counterpoint to the black shadow. It looked fine in colour but mono gives it the feeling that this oak tree has been in this landscape for a very, very long time - which it undoubtedly has!
