Garden visitor

This female great spotted woodpecker honoured us with a visit this morning. We’ve noticed a few birds returning to the garden recently after a a period of absence - the bullfinches and collared doves. Another nice surprise today was hearing that we are not going into level 4 lockdown as was predicted. Small mercies these days!
