As forecast.....

We missed the worst of this heavy shower this afternoon. It happened while we were in Lidl, possibly checking out the middle aisle.... We took shelter under the canopy of M&S so I could take a photo of the pink Paperchase building. The shower passed and we walked back home. 

I had a lovely catch-up over coffee with two friends and ex colleagues this morning. My old castle school is doing well and it was good to hear pupil numbers have increased since September. We sat outside under an awning of a restaurant and appreciated the warmth of the overhead heaters. At least the rain held off for our time together.
