Sitting on the fence

Woke just after 6 but drifted off again until we heard the tipper truck collecti a skip from nextdoor but two, who have fecently started some building works as well!

I was stood eating my fruit & yogurt in the kitchen this morning watching this blackbird on the grass, so I quickly got my camera, but then thought he had flown off, until I spotted him on the fence, blip sorted :-) I notice he has a black spot on his beak, heard of blackspot on roses never blackbirds ;-)

We have been in touch with the Blinds company, they will be resuming work next week, so a new appointment has been made.

We went out to look at headboards, bedside lamps and light fittings for the hall and landing. Got the lamps, saw a couple of headboards we like.....negative re hall & landing though :-/ We saw a fab tan leather chair & footstool in the sale in Harvey's, which has gone into administration recently. It was down from nearly £700 to just under 3. We measured it....said to the lady that ae would check it fits and ring as soon as we got home.
It fit with plenty of space around it,, so I rang to pay the deposit.......they had sold it, talk about gutted!!!!!

We called into Boots on the way home to collect hubs prescription.....GP has prescribed some antihistamines to hopefully help sort out this cough. He has to go for a chest xray too.....wonder how,lomthat will take?!

Been to SW tonight, lost a pound, at least thats something!

Peppered smoked mackerel & boiled egg for dinner this evening, over a waldorf type salad, very tasty, but the house is a bit pongy now!!

Just settling down for the night now, been watching The Sister........another apisode tonight, think I am enjoying it :-/
