Sally Mair - Loving life

Doing well

A quiet morning fiddling about with the database trying to get things up to speed before passing it on to our new volunteer.
After lunch Colin drove me down to Stockbridge for a wander, I had about 15 minutes before the rain came on. I couldn't find a seat in any of the cafés I fancied, they were all too busy so I ended up walking along to just before Eilidh's school and getting very wet in the process.
I had been intending to pick up Eilidh from school, walk to their house with her and then walk back to our house, as of course I can't go into her's. I was just going to hand her over at the door. It was so wet though and I really wasn't dressed for an hour's walk in heavy rain so Colin came and picked up both up and we drove her home instead. This evening we both have Zoom commitments, I'm playing bridge and Colin has a church meeting. Bridge stopped in time to watch Autumn watch, lovely shots of red squirrels in Tentsmuir and seals on the Isle of May.
My eb rose above has lasted well. Colin bought them almost two weeks ago when he picked me up from hospital. They've lasted well.

Keep safe and well folks. It sounds like things aren't going to change much over the next few weeks.
