St Andrews Cathedral

After a brief visit to Pittenweem we headed to St Andrews for coffee, a spot of window shopping and a wee bit of Christmas shopping.

The main thoroughfares are full of road works and many of the parking bays are out of commission. Fortunately we park down by the harbour where there are no charges. Walking up from the harbour we usually go through the grounds of the cathedral ruins.

We bought a sandwich for lunch and found a dry seat in the Botanic Gardens where we sat to enjoy our snack.

On the way home the weather took a turn for the worse and the forecasted rain arrived with a vengeance.
