What Lies Beneath

Dawn's birthday today so the kids were hyper at the back of six (not sure if they thought they were getting presents....). After the presentation of the birthday toaster we had breakfast and then Dawn disappeared for some pampering and me and the boys went up Tor Wood and then onto the Blue Pool for some photos and general wee boy running about. Headed home via the garden centre and the boys picked out some stuff for their Aunties birthday.

Not sure what to do with this shot. I like the general vibe of it and it fits in with stuff I'm working on but I'm not sure it's in balance. I like the twigs denoting one aspect of the pool and delineating the surface but I'm not sure if it draws the eye too much. Composition expert opinion welcome.
