Misty Morning Jewels

BIGGER JEWELS

This morning was very misty, grey, cold and dank. But by the time I went out to do the dunging the mist was clearing, soon the sun was out and the temperature rose significantly. Another spring-like day. I noticed a few clumps of grass on the dung-heap which were dripping with droplets from the mist, like tiny jewels suspended from the blades. So I took some shots, not really expecting anything significant to come from them.

After I finished dunging I took a walk to the top end of the stream, where it turns 90 degrees and runs alongside the road in the adjoining field. It's fairly shallow there at present, so I climbed down to the water and walked along the stream bed to where a small fall of water tumbles into the stream from the road drainage. I took some shots of that and around the area, planning to blip one.

But on uploading my pics once back indoors, I was struck by this one of the mist droplets. It had to be my blip......

The shot I'd expected to blip (of the road water spilling into the stream) is this one.
