Rain, rain, go away!
It's been at times torrential.
This is Frank and Bella May in the massive puddle that comes from a spring in the field. Bella used to take a wide berth around it to avoid getting her tootsies wet, but with some encouragement and praise from me she now ventures in. She's not keen on water and doesn't go in rivers or the sea even though she can swim.
Sue phoned today so we had a lengthy chat as usual. She has at last made up her mind that the house will have to be sold. It's nearly a year since Tony died and it will take at least another year to get rid of all the hoarded stuff in order to put the house on the market.
If it wasn't for Covid we could go and help but they are in Tier 3. My nephew Phil who now lives with her is sorting all the junk out and trying to sell the good stuff.
I've spent the day much the same as the other days - drawing and cutting out quilt squares. I find both these things relaxing and go off into a world of my own. I've been listening to podcasts of Desert Island Discs.
Anyway, it's bed and book time.
Goodnight x
