The Count of Montelukast

Sounds grand doesn't it. Montelukast is the name of an asthma medication  discovered by a doctor from Montreal in Canada. Nothing to do with a count. The lukast bit is from leukotriene. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene D4 in the lungs resulting in decreased inflammation. Fab for allergic and exercise induced asthma. My lungs are a bit itchy scratchy at the moment., cough, cough cough.I had an out of date box of montelukast from 18 months ago. Today it was replaced by a fresh one. I'm looking forward to not coughing tonight. (Not a covid cough).
