Life In Wales

Flo

We took the girls to the British Wildlife Centre at Lingfield this morning.  I've blipped Flo the Fox before, she's an absolute beauty so here she is again :-)

Due to the damp weather and probably the time of year, there were lots of animals that we didn't see as they were probably hibernating, but we saw the red squirrels, Polly the white squirrel (who I've added to my extras), the foxes, owls, deer, otters, hedgehog and wildcats.  The wildcats just look like a tabby cat, but I would like to mistake them!

We took a picnic with us and sat outside but undercover to have our lunch before heading home, and we timed it well, as it started raining just as we left.  A quick stop at the supermarket and we were home for about 3.30pm so it was nice not to be back too late.  The girls were happy to play with Bobbie & Milou and I made a curry for Alan and I and pumpkin soup for the girls at Scarlett's request.  As I thought thought, they didn't like it, but luckily I had some left over bolognaise as a back up!

A nice early night for the girls and a chilled out one for us - it was an awful night weather wise though, strong winds and torrential rain, but luckily the girls were ok.  It's their last night with us, and they've done really well without mummy and daddy and have said they'd like to come again on their own :-)
