Memory Lane......!

We bought some new bedside units for one of the spare bedrooms this week. Today I made the changeover from old to new and although I knew these souvenirs were in one of the drawers, it was wonderful to look at them again. GadgetKid and I got tickets to watch a volley ball and hockey match and loved it! I wonder if she still has her tickets etc. It was one of the many times I am thrilled we live within easy reach of London and in 2012 also not far from the Olympic Park. (I now see I was in the early days of blipping back then and also posted these events!)

Plenty of pink here too, so it serves well for my Pink October post today. 

It's rained almost all afternoon and there's a strong wind out there too now. Good to have a chat with Lala before lunch. I returned to my sewing machine later while D continued with painting the hall. Tonight marks the end of BST and the evenings will be getting darker. Counting our blessings and very grateful for all we have managed to do this summer even with restrictions. The winter could well feel long.
