Recycling...

Flowers that have passed their best, now in the compost bin but still having enough colour to look good. 

A quiet day here although we've done with some decorating and painting, and I phoned all seven ladies on my Community Lunch list. They are doing so well in these restricted times. Next week I will visit them. Some want to put a face to a name.

 We should have been on our way to Cairo today to see the pyramids. Three days there then onto Luxor for a Nile cruise. We last did that river cruise thirteen years ago and also two years before that. We were looking forward to doing it again. 

Big Sis went with her family up to Kings Cross to see them off on the train back to Dunbar. I heard from her later that she was home again and feeling "bereft."  Her home is very quiet! It's been great to be a part of their visit and to see how much she is loved by her grandchildren.
