Some Days

Sunday Harbour

A beautiful morning at the harbour in Dunbar, East Lothian.

I have often blipped aspects of this image; the bridge, the castle remains, the rocks outside the harbour wall, and beyond the harbour mouth in the distance Belhaven Bay.

Lots of the boats were out of the water today, having work done to the hulls. Fishermen were standing about in groups laughing and swearing very loudly, as fishermen everywhere do, much to the fascination of the tourists children, who were bustled away from the rude men by protective parents.

And it was a lovely morning.
